2024 was a tremendous year of growth for us in terms of our exposure, following, and, most importantly, creativity. One of our proudest accomplishments was my first byline, a full-page article published in the Irish Echo, a paper we've read since we were kids. Of note, we also were honored to be covered by News 12 TWICE, thanks to Diane Caruso and Katerina Belales. We had additional write ups in the Rockland County Times, Bold Journey Magazine, and The Irish Star, which have brought us some of our best clients.
We started the year with our first month-long exhibit at the Pearl River Public Library, and I was fortunate enough to be included in the Arts Council of Rockland's Hidden Treasure Gallery Exhibits at the Rockland County Courthouse (New City, NY) and the Palisades Mall (West Nyack, NY). Most recently, I participated in the Dennis P. McHugh Piermont Library's "Gift of Art" Show featuring various local artists (December 2024).
In addition to the Pearl River Florist, we added new stores to our partnerships including And Beyond Boutique (Pearl River), Red Bank Artisan Collective (Red Bank, NJ), and Crystals on the Rocks (Nyack, NY). We look forward to partnering with new stores as we grow and connect with others.
We completed our most robust tour of live events meeting new clients at street fairs in Nyack (NY), Pearl River (NY), St. Thomas Aquinas College in Sparkill (NY), the GAA in Orangeburg (NY), Westwood (NJ), and Ridgewood (NJ). While these events are a tremendous amount of work and entail long days often with our kids in tow, they are the most satisfying way to meet people face to face and get their feedback.
Kevin created new and amazing pieces with reclaimed wood and whiskey barrels, creating some of our most popular items. I have expanded my line of print items and have made a return to more canvas art which will be featured in upcoming exhibits in Piermont and Nyack, NY in 2025.
Kevin and I have much for which we are grateful, namely the chance to keep creating thanks to your efforts. We are looking forward to continued expansion, innovation, and evolution in the new year. We offer you our most sincere blessings and gratitude in 2025!
