The 22 x 44 Large American Flag (Just a little bit bigger)
Made from 3/4" repurposed oak flooring stock, this extra large version of our incredibly popular flag measures just about 23" x 45". The 22x44 flag features a chiseled and carved texture on all 13 oak stripes for a hand hewn look, a black oak frame, and 3 coats of oil based satin finished polyuretathan. The flag itself is heavily distressed using an angle grinder, palm sander and torch, and the high quality oil poly brings the character of the wood underneath to life. The rough edges of this piece catch and reflect light from all different angles and curves, making sure that no two flags are exactly the same.
This piece is meant for an extra large wall space or mantle. This piece is shown hung on a covered porch, to give it some protection from the elements, but it could be hung indoors or outdoors and look equally good.
The backside of the piece is torched for a more finished appearance and comes with hanging wire for easy hanging. Due to the weight of oak stripes, a substantial hanging anchor is required.

Should you decide to return any undamaged, unused product, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

Wood items such as artwork, flags, garden stumps are finished with multiple coats of polyurethane for protection. We use water-based polyurethane or oil-based polyurethane, so if you decide to recoat a product, be sure to check the product description to see which kind was used originally so you can be consistent. We are not responsible for any damage that may result from you treating a product. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to us.
If your item is going to be displayed outdoors, we will use outdoor polyurethane for additional protection. Items left outside year-round in the elements will show wear and tear faster, so we recommend that items are brought in during harsh weather seasons.
