American Flag with Carved Distressed Edges (Large)
Made from 3/4” pine stock, this red and natural striped beauty measures 20"x36"x1.5", and features a chiseled and carved texture on all 13 stripes for a hand hewn look.
With indoor/outdoor spar polyurethane finish, this flag is suitable for outdoor display, although it would look just as good above a mantle or on a large wall space.
Each piece of pine is individually sanded, stained and painted to form a 50 star version of this standard classic. Then each piece is chiseled and ground to give distress marks and angles along each striped edge. Once fully assembled the overall look is a hand carved piece that is unique and distinctive.
Notice how the sun is caught and reflected off the high gloss poly and various angles. No two flags would be the same.
The backside of the piece is torched for a more finished appearance and comes with hanging wire for easy hanging.

Should you decide to return any undamaged, unused product, the shipping cost will be deducted from the refund.

Wood items such as artwork, flags, garden stumps are finished with multiple coats of polyurethane for protection. We use water-based polyurethane or oil-based polyurethane, so if you decide to recoat a product, be sure to check the product description to see which kind was used originally so you can be consistent. We are not responsible for any damage that may result from you treating a product. If you have questions, feel free to reach out to us.
If your item is going to be displayed outdoors, we will use outdoor polyurethane for additional protection. Items left outside year-round in the elements will show wear and tear faster, so we recommend that items are brought in during harsh weather seasons.
